After recently becoming a doting dad to a pretty kick-ass daughter myself, father of the bride speeches have taken on a whole new meaning to me. Becky and Ryan's highlights from their day is another example of a proud Dad absolutely nailing his speech - a theme that has definitely been consistent with all of my couples this year. So, here's to the Dads!
Who doesn't love a boat ride? Imagine a boat ride on your wedding day!? Well, Kirsty and Rajan pretty much lived the dream and got ferried around on their own little boat during their big day. Pretty freaking cool, huh?
This was all possible due to their awesome venue; Island Hall in Godmanchester. This was the only cool thing that took part during their day of course. Check out the rest of their fun and frolics in their highlights film.
Harriet and Kieron's wedding day took place at The Carriage Hall in Nottingham. I shot their big day alongside the fabulous Shoot it Momma, and we had a ball. Highlights from the day included watching an originally nervous best man smash his speech out of the park, witness an incredibly cute flower girl do the perfect 'Home Alone' reaction when learning that Kieron once stole Harriet's pizza (perfectly legit reaction, tbh) and generally just watch Harriet and Kieron be super happy and loved up all day.
Jen and Kieran - an infectiously happy couple, whose day was full of love, kindness and laughter. From my first meeting with these guys, I knew it was going to be a special day. They tied the knot on a beautiful April day at Swancar Farm and Country House in Nottingham. They also win the prize for my favorite Mother and Father of the Bride. Alison, the Mother of the Bride was one of the most accommodating and kind people that you're likely to meet - from fuelling me with plenty of food and coffee throughout the day through to her constant smile and friendly nature, she was an absolute winner. Al, the Father of the Bride was immensely proud of the beautiful bride and had a few surprises up his sleeve that helped make Jen and Kieran's day even more special.
My last wedding of 2016, and what a way to see the year off on a high! Danielle and Adam's late November wedding took place in the heart of London at the super cool Devonshire Terrace. The location gave us the perfect opportunity to grab some great footage of some of London's finest landmarks - with The Gherkin making an amazing backdrop for the couple shots.
