Why should we hire a videographer?

Obviously, we’re a tad biased about this. In our eyes, ensuring that the biggest day of your life is captured on film so that you can relive it over and over again should be pretty high up on your priority list.

Don’t just take our word for it, check out these following articles for some solid advice:

What do you include in your package?

We keep things simple and offer a single package. This being with you for the whole day (from bridal preparation, through to just after the first dance), a cinematic highlights trailer, a full 15-20 film telling the complete story of your day, full coverage of your ceremony and speeches, all films hosted securely online with the option to share and download and all of your final films delivered on a custom USB stick. We also offer an option of a second filmmaker to allow us to film both the bride and the groom during preparation as well as get more footage during your day.

How long will you be with us for?

In order to tell your story properly, when you book us we’re yours for the day. Filming typically starts a couple of hours before your ceremony, until about half an hour after the first dance. However, we never leave a wedding until we’re sure that we’ve captured all of the shots to create you a perfect set of films.

When will we receive the final films?

All of our films are lovingly crafted and a lot of time is taken to ensure we produce the highest possible quality films.

We aim to get your highlights film to you within five-six weeks after your wedding day. You’ll receive your full package about two-three months after your wedding, however, sometimes it can take a little bit longer when we’re in the middle of the summer wedding season. You’ll never be waiting more than 4 months after your big day though!

Can we choose our own music?

Music plays a vital role in establishing the tone and pace of your films.

Because of copyright law, we cannot use known tracks in your short highlights film. We use the very best royalty free websites to source the best possible music to compliment your film. Most couples trust us to pick out the perfect track – however, if this is something that you’d like to have a crack at it can be easily arranged.

As your full film is delivered offline, you will have the chance to pick out your favourite tracks to act as the soundtrack to your day. The copyright license to cover this is included in the package price.

What is your booking process?

Once you’ve decided that we’re your guys we’ll send you over a small digital contract for you to review and sign (this is simply so that you’re fully aware of what we’ll be supplying), as well as an invoice to cover the deposit.

Once we’ve received both of these, your date will be fully booked in for you. The next step will be to book in either a coffee catch up or Skype chat so that we can get to know each other and discuss the details of your day in detail. This typically takes place about a month before your wedding.

The final balance of your film package will then be due a month before your wedding date.

Do we need to feed you?

This is always appreciated but is in no way required. If you could let us know either way that’d be great.

Are you insured?

Of course! We hold full public liability insurance to cover us against any potential accidents.

Do you travel?

We’re based in Nottingham, but happily travel across the UK and abroad to capture couples special days for them.

If your day is going to take place within Nottinghamshire then the travel is covered in the standard fee, however if you’re getting married further afield there may be an additional fee to cover travel and accommodation.
